This demolition and interior renovation of the existing 5,600 square foot facility and an addition of 3,600 square feet included a new slab, structural steel, new masonry and all new finishes throughout the entire structure. The new addition offers a variety of opportunities with a new fitness room, an arts and crafts center, along with a game room adjacent to a lounge/gathering area for larger functions, allowing the seniors a place to interact and socialize. The expansion also allows the City of Desoto to better serve its community. Notably, the Senior Center is a showpiece that gives the citizens and staff a facility to be proud of. |
