Highlights:

Project:  Renovation of existing building to include library and bank
Client:  City of McKinney
Architect:  Halden Talley HDR Architects
Note:  Awarded bonus for early finish

A total renovation of an existing building was the goal for this service building project while keeping an atmosphere of warmth and openness. The transformation of the library and bank areas with the incorporation of all new elaborate woodwork offered a more inviting feel and gave the office spaces a luxurious ambiance.  All flooring was replaced with a more complimentary carpet. A new roof and exquisite landscape provided a welcome feel. An area reaching over 25,000 square feet was transformed to an impressionable center.

Value engineering played a significant role on this project as the team created ways to stay within budget without sacrificing quality or major program goals.
